The RLP’s Thematic Working Groups or Task Groups bring together Members who are working on the same or similar issues to collaborate on achieving a shared objective or a shared project.
Working towards changes to policy and laws that limit freedom of speech, religious expression, or change of religion especially where blasphemy is cited as the reason.

Identifying issues at the intersection of forced displacement and religious freedom, identifying challenges faced by displaced faith communities and working towards ensuring their protection under international human rights laws and mechanisms.

To inform and inspire the church to bring change where there is gendered religious persecution.

Promoting training of leaders - particularly those serving communities that are under pressure for their faith all over the world, identifying gaps in availability of training resources and addressing such needs.

The RLP’s Synergy Initiatives or Special Interest Groups are a concept introduced in 2022, to bring together Members working on similar issues and agree on broad objectives to share knowledge and work towards a shared goal.

The first Special Interest Group to be formed within the RLP, the group focusses on challenges to religious freedom in the African Continent, sharing information, raising awareness, advocacy, assistance and raising prayer.

The Group shares a common interest and passion for research relating to issues of freedom of religion or belief.

Explores the challenges of publishing stories of religiously motivated violence on secular media.
Voices for Justice is a collaborative movement seeking justice for those targeted for their faith.
