Analysis of Religious Freedom Provisions in Constitutions of Islamic Countries

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) recently completed a "Comparative Study of Constitutions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Countries". The study analyzes how constitutions in the Muslim world treat the issues of human rights and freedom of religion or belief. Specifically, it compiles and analyzes the constitutional provisions currently in force regarding the relationship between religion and state, religious freedom, and related human rights.
